Flight instructors
Nick Ullmann, CFI, chief pilot - Nick has been teaching something to someone for over 30 years, and flight instructing for 4. Raised in Switzerland, Proteus' resident polyglot is a full-time instructor, although occasionally he takes days off to fly as a first officer on a KingAir B100 located on the field. Nick started Proteus back in 1996 and it still goes strong.
Chris Adams, CFI/I - Chris is a homegrown Protean. Obtaining his private pilot certificate here in 2004, and then his instrument and commercial at Proteus. Chris has been involved here for years and is an enthusiastic and knowledgable airman, and looks forward to building a solid student base. He is also FITS certified for the G1000, GFC700, and Diamond DA40 aircraft. If you need training on any of these systems, Chris is happy to provide.
George Velasquez, CFI - Another homegrown Protean, George brings military experience to the Proteus family. George has flown in Japan as well as the United States, and is ready to fly with anyone, anytime, any place.
Ground Support
Andrew Schweitzer - Andrew has worked as Proteus' day to day manager for just over a year, having obtained his private pilot certificate in the summer of 2006 with Nick and his instrument rating in 2008 with Chris. Usually perched behind the front desk, Drew can be counted on to have your plane fueled and your instructor waiting. Andrew hopes to be the next addition to the previous section on this page.
