With regret, Proteus has had to institute a price increase. While we have attempted to maintain the same rental prices, it is no longer possible for us to continue operating at the current price structure. Due to the soaring cost of fuel, aircraft rates have been adjusted. We hope you can understand, and if fuel prices come down to a more reasonable amount, we will adjust our prices to reflect that. For reference and scope, it may be worth noting that since our last price adjustment (June 1, 2007), the price of a barrel of oil has gone up approximately 225%.
